| 1952 | Viktor Eustachius Kern founds the company V.E. Kern Ges.m.b.H. in Vienna. Gas stations and first self service retailers are supplied with car accessories and car maintenance products. V.E. Kern represents the Caramba brand (car maintenance products) during this period in Austria. |
| 1980 | The company is sold to Aral Austria. |
| 1989 | Sale of the company to the Stinnes Corporation. The cooperation with the sister company Inter-Union in Landau is intensified during the same year. |
| 2002 | Certification of the company in accordance with DIN ISO 9001:2000. |
| 2003 | The logistics activities are discontinued in Vienna. The Austrian market receives now deliveries from the joint central warehouse in Radevormwald (Germany). |
| 2005 | The company is transformed into a distribution firm. |
