All major dates starting with the founding of the company until today

Inter-Union focuses on the sale of car accessories and car maintenance since the company was founded by Werner Saipt in Landau. The Intertec-Group was established after companies in neighboring countries were acquired and sales and service companies were founded at the Landau location.

1962 Werner Saipt founds the company "Union-Autozubehör" in Landau
1972 Union Autozubehör GmbH & Co. KG assumes the distribution of Nigrin car maintenance products as a 2nd distribution path. The acquisition by Stinnes AG was executed during the same year.
1976 Acquisition of 2/3 of the shares of Tegro AG, Switzerland, by Stinnes AG.
1978 The company is renamed into "Union Technohandel GmbH".
1982 Renaming into "Inter-Union Technohandel GmbH".
1985 The warehouses are centralized in Radevormwald and EVB Bour GmbH (specialized trade distribution organization in Landau) is acquired.
1989 Acquisition of V.E.Kern Ges.mbH, Austria, by Stinnes AG.
1995 Founding of Intertec GmbH. The company relocates into the new building in Landau.
1999 Acquisition of ZIG Polen and renaming into Intertec Polska Sp.
2001 The service segment Retail Logistics is introduced.
2003 Change of Stinnes ownership to Schenker.
2006 Renaming into Intertec GmbH.
